• When you go to register, you will see an option to "Sign Up" - (under the "submit" button) please select this and follow the prompts.

  • No sailing experience is required! Our experienced Instructors have introduced thousands of people to Sailing in a safe and fun environment and will teach you everything you need to know along the way.

  • For safety reasons participants MUST wear closed-toed shoes.

What you need to bring to sailing:

    • Clothes that can get wet – bathers (ie. shorts & rashie) or exercise clothing ideal (avoid cotton). Please ensure your shoulders are covered to reduce risk of sunburn

    • Towel

    • Closed-toe footwear that can get wet (beach shoes, old sneakers), crocs aren't ideal as they tend to fall off and float away!

    • a warm jumper and a waterproof jacket - it can get cold out on the water and we still sail if it is raining!

    • A complete change of clothes

    • Hat

    • Water bottle

    • Snack lunch (Tackers)

    And if available:

    • Windproof and waterproof jacket

    • Wetsuit

    • Sailing gloves (gardening gloves, bike or golf gloves etc are good too)

    • Wetsuit boots

    *PFD (lifejackets) Type 2 provided.

What to bring to Winter sailing:

    All of the above plus;

    • Woollen or fleece jumper

    • Beanie

    • Thermals

  • We provide boats and life jackets. Our training boats include Optimists, Pacers and Hansas to suit a range of age groups and experience levels.

  • In inclement weather, all our programs have important components and activities that can be modified to be delivered safely on water, onshore or indoors regardless of the weather.

For Sailing, inclement weather can include heavy rain, lightning, strong winds, hazardous air quality or extreme temperatures. Our evaluation of the impact of inclement weather on a session considers factors including:

    • safety of staff and participants

    • the type of inclement weather and its impact on the session.

    • the timing of the session about the inclement weather

    • the availability of modified on-water, shore-based or indoor activities, as applicable

    • whether the session is a one-off or part of a series of sessions

One-off introductions: Participant experience can be affected when inclement weather is predicted during the session, preventing any on-water activity. When we deem it appropriate, we will reschedule these at no additional charge.

Multi-session programs: Sessions proceed as long as a modified session can be safely completed based on the forecast. When multiple consecutive sessions are affected, we may reschedule a session at no charge to ensure a quality experience and good on-water practice.

  • This depends on your age, and experience level. Please look at our Programmes page to learn about our different courses.

We are also happy to talk you through the options so if you need more information please email or call us!

  • Absolutely! We can adapt our programs to suit your level of ability. You can read about our Sailability programs here for additional support.
