Whitworths Mobile Tackers Fleet - for primary school ages

The Whitworth's Mobile tackers Fleet is a great fun way to introduce young people to sailing and boating. Tackers is Yachting Australia's introductory program for children (7-12 yrs). You may have seen the colorful sails of the tackers boats used in the program at one of Victoria's many popular sailing beaches over the Summer. The Whitowrth's Mobile Tackers Fleet includes fifteen Ozi Opti boats suitable for two kids at the introductory level - tackers 1. Tackers 2 provides better sailing techniques and is conducted in the same boats but single handed. Tackers 3 then teaches basic racing skills, from which kids may progress to green fleet (modified racing) at a Yacht Club.

YV supply all boats, Tackers gear for the kids eg tshirts and caps), equipment (PFD's etc) and fully Accredited Instructors.

If you would like to know more about how we may be able to help your club with the Mobile Boat Shed  please give Tom a call on 9686 2571 or email tcotter@yachtingvictoria.com.au.
